The Charitable Grants program honors the legacy of Dick Fairbanks’ interest in making small, unrestricted grants to organizations where these funds can make a significant impact.

This year’s funding theme, recidivism, has been identified by Indianapolis city and community leaders as an ongoing issue. According to the Indiana Department of Correction, nearly 35% of adult offenders released in 2020 were recommitted to the IDOC within just three years.

The reentry population faces complex challenges in the areas of health, housing, employment, and social and family support. Access to services in each of these areas is critical to preventing recidivism and fostering successful reintegration. The Fairbanks Foundation is pleased to support these organizations as they continue their impactful work.

Quỹ Richard M.
