How We Engage

Collaboration & Convenings

Partnering for Progress: Supporting Lasting Change

The Fairbanks Foundation regularly collaborates with local and national stakeholders on a variety of convenings and projects. We recognize that the potential for impact is greatest when we leverage the combined expertise of our team alongside our grantees, partners, fellow funders, and community members. This cross-sector engagement is critical to advancing our mission.

Bringing People Together for a Common Purpose

The Fairbanks Foundation believes in collaborating with other organizations to share best practices, address challenges, and align strategies moving forward. To that end, we regularly convene stakeholder groups that share common interests or are implementing similar initiatives. These gatherings help ensure effectiveness and efficiency among various initiatives while also allowing us to continually improve our own work.

“Our work does not exist in a vacuum. We collaborate with local and national partners to engage with a broad range of perspectives and ideas.”
Kami Nielsen Senior Director of Programs
